Gil Davis Posted September 1, 2005 Report Share Posted September 1, 2005 Each time I run Retrospect 6.0 on an Apple Xserver to back up ArcView 9.0 files located on a Dell/Windows XP computer, I get thousands of error messages. Retrospect's log shows the errors are coming from a series of GIS reference files with files types of dbf, shp, shx., sbn and sbx. They appear to be "read only" files. As you might imagine, this number of error messages makes it difficult to see any other error messages that might be cropping up. In fact, it's difficult to scroll through the errors and find the beginning and end! Do you have any suggestions? I'd sure appreciate them.
