cangel
Dear experts, I'm using Retrospect 6.0.212 on Mac OS X Tiger 4.1 I have a G4 single 1.25 ghtz. I'm trying to delete some folders from my backup set on an external hard drive. This is my procedure: I open up Retrospect. I click on Configure. I click on Volumes. Volumes database appears. I highlight my external hard drive (La Cie) and click "Browse. The general contents of the La Cie appear, including my "Backup Set A," which I place a check mark next to by clicking next to it. I then go to the Browser drop down menu, go to "Find." The Find window opens and ask me to find a folder which contains the name _____. I enter the name. Nothing happens. What am I doing wrong????? I've been going over the manual and I thought I was doing it right. Are there some pages I should be referring to? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! natew
Hi You cannot selectively remove files and folders from a backup set. The only way to remove data from a backup set is by running a "recycle backup". This will delete everything in the backup. Thanks Nate
