pcarlson
When I try to back up my Windows Client the retrospect application dies. That is retrospect just disappears from the set of running applications. This has also happens when backing up Mac OS X clients, but it is less reproducible. This is very reproducible. I have not other application running when retrospect dies. I am running version 5.0.025 of Retrospect Workgroup with 20 clients with a firewire VXA drive with the 2.6.106 driver updates. This also occured before the driver updates. I am running on Mac OS X version 10.1.4 Mac G3 450 MHz B/W Tower 384 MB Ram No other FW drives connected I have run Norton utilities and I have found no problems. It's usually a good idea to also check the box to "Automatically display crash logs." This might give you a hint as to what's happening. Let the Forum know what you learn.
