Guest
I have Retrospect Server 5.5 for windows. I have also three Mac Servers to be backed up regularly. The client is installed in all the systems both mac and windows. I can also see both MAC and Windows clients at the server. But when I try to add a mac client to the client list at the server, the server asks for a passoword. During the client installation at the MAC, the installation program didn't give option to enter password at all. And there isn't a place in Mac client program to enter a password either. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks san4
Mayoff
When installing a Macintosh client it always asks the user to type a password. It never asks the user to type in a registration number or license code. If you don't remember seeing that dialog box, or do not know the password you must do the following: Throw away the Macintosh Client Control Panel. Restart the Macintosh Reinstall the Retrospect Client, taking note of the password Restart the Macintosh
