Intermittently, the backup script fails to complete with the following error message at the bottom. UAllowSystemSleepAgain: IOPMAssertionRelease failed, err = -536870199 Does anyone have any clue as to what the error message is trying to say? The servers are not set to sleep or to shutdown in any manner. The only power saving feature is to turn off the display after 10min. Lennart_T Posted December 11, 2014 Report Share Posted December 11, 2014 What I see is that "Execution stopped by operator" at 6 AM. THEN the error occurs, which I doubt is the cause of the problem. There are some debugging messages left in the released version of Retrospect. I assume this is one of them. What happens at 6 AM? Retrospect server set to shut down or reboot? If you watch the Retrospect server at 10-11 PM, what activities do you see? "Scanning", I assume, then possibly "Matching". Then what? I found that the MacMini which is running Retrospect server was "scheduled" to restart every day at 6:00am. Not sure why we had set this up, but that is what was causing this particular error.
