jcagle Posted November 5, 2014 Report Share Posted November 5, 2014 OS X Version 10.6.4 Current Retrospect Client Version 11.5.2 (104) Previous Retrospect Client Version 6.1.107 When I click the "On" button in the Retrospect Systems Preferences pane and click the lock the button goes to "Off". I recently installed Retrospect Client Version 11.5.2 (104) but I did not use an uninstaller to remove the old 6.1.107 version. Is there a way to clean this up so that the client will run? Mayoff Posted November 5, 2014 Report Share Posted November 5, 2014 Try this: Macintosh Clients 1) Go to the client computer 2) Run the uninstall script included with the Retrospect Client installer 3) Go to Library/preferences and delete the retroclient.state file 4) Reinstall the Retrospect Client. Retrospect should prompt you to enter a new password during the install process. 5) Go to the backup server and re-add the Retrospect Client.
