Whiting55 Posted August 15, 2014 Report Share Posted August 15, 2014 Hi I am running retrospect Version 10.5.0 (145) on an mac Xserv running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and I am consistently getting the needs new media error when the tape has plenty of room on it. We back up large amounts of video to 2 x LTO3's and it's very frustrating when the A tape completes the task filling up the tape to say 80% but the B tape gets part way through and asks for another tape. We do not have multiple member tapes but keep each tape separate with 3 to 4 jobs on each. The last archive that had this problem was an 80gig archive to a tape with 120gig remaining and it asked for a new tape after 60gigs. Any help would be much appreciated. We cannot upgrade our xserv to lion as some of the programmes we use will stop working. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
