redleader Posted August 8, 2014 Report Share Posted August 8, 2014 I have the proper tapes in my drive. I do not have a cleaning tape in. But when I scan the carriage one appears as a cleaning tape, another as untitled They also have Green icons instead of the normal Blue icons If I singularly scan these tapes, a few times, they might eventually come up correctly named. And this happens randomly... I have to carriages full of 12 tapes which we rotate fortnightly for our backups. Every 3 months I wipe the whole sets and start fresh backups. Any ideas? Lennart_T Posted August 8, 2014 Report Share Posted August 8, 2014 I only have experience with tapes on the Windows version of Retrospect, and only up to version 7.6. Sometimes you have to right-click on the "cleaning" slot and tell Retrospect NOT to see it as the cleaning slot. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
