Retro 11 - Backup hangs on disk error

Recommended Posts

Have tried several iterations of this backup to a group of HDD's with similar results. So far, I have tried to repair the set in Retro, which passed with no errors. Checked the set in the native utility, also no errors, member disks seem fine (no errors in Disk Util on the local server). I continually get the following error when backing up to a Disk Group:

Apple's Disk Util doesn't check the disk media.

What if you do a huge Finder copy to the drive in question, do you get any errors?

Do you have anything more competent than Apple's Disk Util, such as TechTool Pro? A test program that can perform a check for bad sectors.
