ggirao
Hello, I don't know why, and when using retro 9 never failed. But now on retro 10, not all emails are sent when the backup finishes. It's random stuff, sometimes sends sometimes doesn't. Have you ever seen? lstone19
Happens to me too. No pattern to when and why that I can determine. I've never seen it fail to send me a failure email but success emails are hit or miss. I just go into the console each morning to check things out. Mayoff
I would suggest upgrading to Retrospect 11. We have made major changes to how email notification works in the new version.
bdunagan
Please see our revised knowledge base article on email support and troubleshooting suggestions. While the email service support section applies to v11, the steps for better logging are also applicable to Mac v9/v10.
