Restore only most recent versions

Recommended Posts

If your looking to restore more than a couple of files from a single source volume, the easiest way is probably to select the restore operation as "Restore selected files and folders" and choose the most recent point-in-time snapshot of the desired source.

If you need to restore files from multiple sources using this method, you'll need to perform a separate restore for each source.

If I have only one or two files to restore, I find it easier to use the "Search for files" option and simply select manually the file versions I want to restore. This method can retrieve files from multiple sources at the same time.

There is no way I'm aware of to have Retrospect automatically restore the latest versions of files from multiple sources in a single restore operation, but I haven't found that to be a serious handicap.
