I have set Retrospect 6.0 to autolaunch and backup to an external Maxtor one touch firewire drive. The autolaunch starts, however, it shows and error message saying that it can't access catalog for backup set, error -43 (file/folder not found) and of course the execution is incomplete.

If I run the script manually, the backup runs fine.

Any ideas what the reasons could be?

There is a hack you can make in OSX to keep volumes mounted when you log out. Unfortunately I cant seem find that thread. It is on the forum here somewhere.

What it boils down to is the finder unmounts volumes when you log out. At that point Retrospect can't get to them because they arent there to access.
