ronhess
Every time I run a "normal backup" I get a "catalog out of sync" message. When I follow the directions it says "completed successfully" but I still get the same "out of sync" message when I try it again. I followed the steps on the website to no avail. I upgraded the device driver (Seagate STT 6201) as instructed by Seagate. No help. The Dantz workaround does not work. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks
TGolamb
I've been having the same problem for a while now and it's driving bloody crazy. I've been using RetroSpect for ten years, so I'm not a rookie at this sort of thing (but it's been 98% on Macs) and I have never had this kind of problem. It's come down to completely wiping the catalog and completely backing up the system each and every time. This is stupid, but I can't risk losing everything either. So what's the magic fix? ronhess
I still haven't found an answer. I do the same thing you are doing. Run a complete backup each time. I think Dantz knows they have this problem, based on what's on their website.
IrenaS
Try downloading and running the Trial installer from: http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=free_trial This will update the version to 5.6.132.
