Help With Adding And Managing Network Volumes

Recommended Posts

Sorry for the multiple posts, I could not find how to delete the other two!

Hi, I have moved my data from my computer on to a NAS Drive. The data is stored subfolders within two primary shared folders on the NAS. When re-assigning the location of the data folders for back-up, I added the folder from the two primary shared folders, but Retrospect did not keep the subfolders separate and arranged them alphabetical. e.g.

Current Outcome

subfolder A

subfolder B

subfolder C

subfolder D

subfolder E

subfolder F

Preferred Outcome

Primary Folder 1

subfolder A

subfolder B

subfolder C

subfolder D

Primary Folder 2

subfolder A

subfolder B

subfolder C

subfolder D

When I backed-up my data from two separate hard drives in my computer before, Retrospect listed the two primary folders, i.e D and E Drive subfolders under each primary folder name in the Retrospect, which made it easier to see what folders were being backed-up from each Drive (not all the folders were being backed up).

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks,

David
