saltamontes Posted January 17, 2006 Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 I am trying to transfer the most recent snapshots to another backup set, but it always fails with the following error: Quote: Trouble matching DailyBackup to DisasterBak, error -808 (key/refnum search failed) Retrospect is running on the machine with the source backup set (on 4 local hard drives), and the destination backup is spread over 4 network shares (they are 4 shared hard drives on another machine) The snapshot transfer will run for a moment, and then fail with error -808. This also fails when I try to transfer backup sets. Does anyone know how to fix this error? It is not documented on the dantz site, or in the manual.
