snap 2200 nas device not connecting

I'm trying to connect Retrospect 6.5 to a Snap Server 2200 NAS device, and every time I try to add the share to the volumes menu, I get this error: "error getting volume information, cannot add this volume to the database". I have tried every method that people have previously suggested to fix this with no luck...I have forgotten the device then restarted...I have gotten rid of the config files...I have made sure that the firmware and OS for the Snap are completely up to date.

 

This is seriously affecting our backup solution, so I need to get this connected flawlessly asap. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
