Retro 7 ADIC LTO very slow backups

Recommended Posts

We are having a problem were our LTO changer has started to drop to <200 megs per minute for backups (local and network), this used to get well over 800 meg per minute local backup and up to 1000.

Any ideas? The latest drivers from dantz are loaded and for the SCSI cards as well.

Help.

Hi,

Please list as much as you can for the following:

1. Retrospect (ex. 7.0.XXX) and RDU version

2. What kind of SCSI card?

3. What OS?

4. Device info - go to Configure > Devices > Environment and list the entire line beginning w/

SCSI ID

5. Have you tried swapping SCSI cables, tried a different SCSI card, moved the SCSI card to a different PCI slot or tried on another machine?

Sorry, I should've been more clear.

What you have posted is most likely your hard drive.

Your ADIC LTO loader should be showing in the Environment tab is well.

Please list that if available.
