SIMONSRF
Retrospect Express 6.0. Windows XP Dell 2400 Having HD problems, so did a complete duplicate backup today 9/9/05. Then went to the "prepare for disaster recovery" window. I only see previous set A dated 9/6/05. In the lower pane, snapshots contained in Backup Set A, there is an entry for Drive C: with computer name which is way out-dated 1/4/2005. There is also one for the C:\drive sytem dated 9/6/05. Shouldn't I have a set for the Duplicate I made today 9/9/05?
dld
I think you are confusing Retrospect Duplicate with Retrospect Backup. Read this: http://forums.dantz.com/files/32402-Dupe%20Vs%20backup.pdf If you want to recover from a disaster affecting your system, you have to use Backup. You could use Duplicate to replace a corrupt file for example.
