PRS
Hi, I have Retrospect 7.0 multisever on Windows 2003 standard server. I've done a snapshot backup of a remote drive to a disk backup set over a couple of days (so that I have 3 snapshots of the same drive in the disk backup set. When I transfer the snapshot to tape (selecting only the most recent and including all intermediate snapshots) the process says it works. When I try to restore all the files and directories are listed there but when the files are restored all files except zip files are 0 kb in size and I get the following errors in the log : Decompression failed due to corrupt input data File "C:\ahos01_reg_backup.reg": appears incomplete When I restore from the disk backup it works correctly, without any errors and when I backup directly to tape it also works correctly. It seems like a problem with the transfer snapshot function. Can someone please help! Thanks, Beau
natew
Hi Make sure you have Retrospect 7.0.326 installed. You might also want to try a catalog rebuild on the source backup set and then run the transfer to tape again. Thanks Nate
PRS
Yipee! Thanks, I upgrade from 7.0.106 to 7.0.326 and it fixed the problem, unfortunately the past tape transfers I did haven't come good but any new transfers I do work correctly. Thanks for your help.
