drwho102003
I'm planning to backup 2 PCs' C: drives onto a NAS device. I'm currently considering Ximeta NetDisk and Buffalo Linkstation. But, I'm not sure if Retro will work w/ Buffalo's Linkstation. One good thing about the Linkstation is that it has this auto-power-up feature. I typically schedule my backups at around 10pm. RonaldL
I've been able to backup and restore selected files from a NetDisk fine. As far as the Buffalo Linkstation, the only issue I've seen with it can be found in this forum post: http://forums.dantz.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=54963&page=6&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=
drwho102003
Well, the forum post that you mentioned seems to be a Mac problem. I've two Dell Dimensions PCs and I just want to use Retro to backup these 2 PCs' C: drives onto the Buffalo Linkstation. I'm thinking of getting the 250 GB Linkstation. BTW, which version of Retrospect would you recommend ? 7.0 or 6.x ? I heard that 7.0 isn't all that stable... But I maybe wrong. I haven't bought anything yet, just do research...
