davecsmw
Ok, so we were running low on disk space on the system drive yesterday, I load up my copy of partition magic and make the proper adjustments. Now Retro doesn't see the drives, or rather it doesn't see them as the same drives. In my volumes list I have two listings for all the drives that had there partition sizes changed, one with the old properties and one with the new. How can I tell Retro that these are the same drives? Will my backups not restore properly now that Retro views the drives as different? Whats the best solution for this problem? TIA. davecsmw
Well I needed to get my backup working for tonight so I added the new versions (which had the exact same name as the old) of each drive to the script and removed the old versions (which were grayed out by retro) of the drives. My question now is, can I restore backups of the "System (C:)" drive from before I changed the partition size, to the new "System (C:)" drive with it's larger partition if needed? It is the same drive, the only thing thats changed is the partition size, but Retro doesn't seem to see it that way. TIA.
