caguy
My buddy and I bought our Maxtor One Touch IIs at the same time. We are both doing Comprehensive backups of our HP Pavillion PCs. Both of us have our Maxtor external USB drives labeled (K:) and are using Express HD. His restore point calendar page has sets of three drives listed: HP_PAVILLION (C:); Hp_recovery (D:); Drive_C(K:). I have the same setup, except that I also have a second external USB drive L. My restore point calendar page also has sets of three drives listed: HP_PAVILLION (C:); Hp_recovery (D:); Buffalo (L:). Question: Why does he have the restore point "Drive_C (K:) ?" And I don't? Thank you.
natew
Hi It sounds like he has set up his backup to also back up the Maxtor drive itself. Look at the actual drive letters on the two systems. I think you will find they are different. Thanks nate
