bin
Hello I'm running Retrospect MultiServer 7.0.249 on Windows NT I use it to back up both MAC and PC machines. I've just set up a Replacement MAC and installed the 6.0.109 client. However, it does not ask me for a password and so I cannot add it to the list of configured clients. I've removed and reinstalled the client but no joy. The MAC is running 10.3 with all upgrades. Any advice please?
waltr
Hello, Was there an earlier version of the Retrospect Client on this machine? If so, it may still have part of that client stuck in the filesystem. Read this: http://kb.dantz.com/article.asp?article=7968&p=2 and download the AppleScript utility that is attached. You should be able to reset the password with that.
bin
There was no earlier client, this was a new build. However the script did the job, thanks for the pointer. bin
