tlemons
Hi What would cause the message "Waiting for Backup Set A"? I've made sure that there are tapes available in Backup Set A; I even moved one of those tapes to a tape drive. The Backup Set is set to use any tape drive in the library. What else can I check? A backup to a disk backup set works fine. Thanks tl
natew
Hi Is this a new backup set to blank media or an incremental backup? Did the message have a number with it? Something like "waiting for 1-backup set a"? Thanks Nate
tlemons
Nothing is listed in the Operations log. I have two tapes that I've added to Backup Set A, so they have not had any backups written to them yet. Activity Monitor in the Waiting tab shows: Immediate Backup Waiting for {tape icon} Backup Set A Thanks! tl
natew
Hi In the backup set properties for backup set A how many members do you see? How much space is used on 1-Backup set A? Retrospect is looking for a specific tape - highlighting an execution in the activity monitor should bring up a media request window that will tell you exactly what that tape should be named.
