pommie
Hi I got Express with my Maxtor drive, but also want to be able to do a CD backup for offsite storage. I can start the backup and fill a single CD. I then get prompted for the 2nd CD. Once it is inserted I get a window that indicates that a damaged file is being repaired and then the error Device trouble: "2-CD Back Up 2005 04 05", error -105 (unexpected end of data) I have updated my driver using Retrospect Driver Update, version 3.9.106 My CD is a Samsung CDRW/DVD SN-324B which is NOT on the list of supported drives (but came as standard on a Dell Latitude) So far I have wasted about 2 hours and 10 CDs trying to sort this out, so any help / advice would be much appreciated. pommie
Nudge... It would be nice if Dantz could confirm whether or not I am wasting my time trying to use this drive. Thanx John
pommie
No answer from Dantz but they HAVE started inviting me to upgrade to V7 ;-)
pommie
What a rubbish resposne - or lack of it - from Dantz Seems the product is useless for backing up to CD using one of the UKs most popular notebooks!
