bdperk Posted March 14, 2005 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 While using the Small Business Server Premium Retrospect 6.5, I receive the error -3405 found below while backing up Exchange mailboxes: - 3/12/2005 10:00:09 PM: Copying *username* - Scan time: 78 milliseconds. - Scanning incomplete, error -3405 (unknown) All mailboxes were backing up just fine previously. Now, for more than a few days, one mailbox yields the error -3405, while the rest are OK. Does this provide any clue for correction? Thank you in advance. bdperk Posted March 16, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 This error came about when a mailbox that was no longer valid (deleted) still appeared on the backup script. Each attempted access to the invalid name yielded the Error -3405. After the mailbox was removed from the script, the Error -3405 was resolved.
