vksmjones
Are selectors only assignable at the script level? I have network volumes grouped via Retrospect Source Groups so that I can have as few scripts as possible. I would like to be able to assign selectors at the network server level so that I could assign unique selectors for each servers (if needed) but still keep the number of scripts down to a manageable level. natew
Hi You can only specify a selector in a script however you can make your selector valid for multiple volumes and servers. The easiest way is to create a selector for each volume and then add those selectors to a single "master" selector to use in all your scripts. Thanks Nate
awnews
You can also nest selectors. So your per-server selector could call a global "network server level" selector and then add additional per-server conditions. Changing the global selector would ripple the changes to all other backup selectors.
