Security Event Log fills up with Logon/Logoff events when Retrospect Runs

Just installed a Retrospect 6.5 backup server and have set the Run Retrospect as .. security setting to a member of the Domain's Backup Operators group on the NT4 Domain Controller. Everytime Retrospect runs it fills the Security Event Log on the Domain Controller with Logon/Logoff events (528 & 538) which are generated every few seconds.

Is there a way to configure Retrospect to prevent it from generating so many Logon/Logoff events? I would have expected it to login at the start of the backup and logout when it is done. I sure hope I have something misconfigured and Retrospect doesn't need to logon and logoff to the Domain Controller for every file it backs up.
