Happy New Year: Scheduled backups don't launch

Retrospect SBS 6.5.350 on SBS 2003


I've just discovered that up through 12/31/2004, scheduled backups ran normally. On 1/1/2005, they stopped working unattended.


If I log on to the server as Administrator (under whose credentials backups are set to run) and leave Retrospect open, they seem to run OK.


The failures do not correspond to any known config change or software installation. Server has been restarted but the problem continues.
