bravotech
There seems to be no way to backup ALL scripts. Where does Dantz save the configuration data files?
natew
Hi c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\Retrospect config65.dat and config65.bak. That includes all of your settings and scripts. Nate
bravotech
Great! I assume it's known ok to restore those across systems, as long as they have same 6.5 version. Thanks.
natew
Hi The license code and local volumes list goes along with those files. If you have specified any local disks for backup in the scripts you will have to redefine those volumes on each machine. You will also need to have licenses for each machine you run Retrospect on. bravotech
Is it possible to just restore the settings for scripts? I have systems where I need the same set of elaborate scripts, but cannot restore device settings and don't want to duplicate license numbers. Is there any detailed documentation of how those configuration data is organized?
natew
Hi All that data is in a proprietary format. Its an all or nothing import. Thanks Nate
