knick
Hi All - After months of running well, backing up some 35 varied clients daily, Retrospect crashed yesterday with the following error message: Encountered a serious error - Assertion failure at "module.cpp-457" This error and crash persisted through a full reboot of the Server 2003 machine. The Proactive tab (used for laptops) showed it not running . On the second reboot I finally stopped all executions before it crashed again via the check box 'don't allow waiting and scheduled executions to start' at the bottom of the Activity Monitor window and left it overnight with all scripts 'deferred'. This morning I unchecked that box and all deferred scripts seemed to have sprung to life. Has anyone seen a similar issue? Thanks, Nick..
