johndansteel
I have noticed that the "Retrospect Helper" service is set to Automatic startup, but that the service is not started. When trying to start the service I get a Windows error "Could not start the Retrospect Helper service on \\xxx | Error 2140: An internal Windows NT error occurred." Why does this happen? The client is installed on a Windows NT 4.0 Server UK SP6 (incl. all MS updates)
natew
Hi The helper service is only used during a full system restore to replace the registry and such. It should stopped during normal operation Nate
