Duplicate to a Windows network drive ** problem **

I have a "random" problem that occurs when I'm doing an immediate backup using the duplicate option to a mapped drive on a windows network. Occassionally it begins the process by deleting the entire set on the target drive and then copying the entire contents from the source. This occurs even when only a couple of files (out of thousands) have changed.

Any suggestions?

Hi

The only reason Retrospect would do this is if it recognizes the files on the network share as different from those on the source drive. Even a minor time stamp difference can cause it.

What OS is the network server running? Something may be causing the time stamps to change a bit.

Thanks

Nate
