  1. Just in case someone else has this problem and is looking for a solution. I was able to get everything back by restoring all the files in the C:\ProgramData\Retrospect folder. I did not restore any files from the C:\ProgramData\Retrospect\RtrSec.dir folder.
  2. That worked! Thank you. It took 7 hours and 47 minutes to recatalog the backup set but now I am able to backup without error. I hope this doesn't happen too often.
  3. Yes, I am able to backup to a different backup set. First I tried "Tools", "Repair Catalog", "Repair File Backup Set" but received an error saying "Can't use a valid non-file backup set to recreate." so instead I ran "Tools", "Repair Catalog", "Update Existing Catalog File" which completed without error.
  4. All of a sudden I am getting an error which says "Trouble matching Local Disk (C:) to Backup Set B, error -641 (chunk checksum didn't match)". I am running: Retrospect Multi Server Version 7.6.111 Driver Update and Hot Fix, version 7.6.1.101 on a Windows 2000 SP4 Server. I have tried restarting the server and performed a recatalog. The problem still persists. I tried searching these forums and the knowledgebase but was unable to find any information about this error. I am currently unable to perform any backup. Does anyone know how to resolve this error?
