  1. Are there any ways to customize the email preferences more grainularly? For example, why does it send a single email for every exchange mailbox that fails in a single backup set, rather than a combined report for that backup set after it completes (successfull or not)? After the backup completes, send me a combined report of exceptions and failures for that backup set. I've seen between 50-100 emails sent in a short period by this product when exchange mailboxes failed to backup, which is completely unacceptable. Just imagine an organization with more mailboxes... For recycles, why does it have to email me to tell me the backup set was reset? I don't need to know that, why can't I toggle that off? We just need the ability to trim down the amount of spam this product generates. Yes, we need to know when a backup fails or succeeds, but we don't need to have so many emails sent to us to do so.
  2. Since last week, Retrospect has given the following errors: 1/8/2009 10:00:00 PM: Copying Local Disk (C:) on XXXXXXX Can't access registry for "S-1-5-18", error -1101 (file/directory not found) Can't access registry for ".DEFAULT", error -1101 (file/directory not found) 1/8/2009 10:29:46 PM: Snapshot stored, 103.7 MB 1/8/2009 10:29:58 PM: Comparing Local Disk (C:) on XXXXXXX 1/8/2009 10:37:43 PM: 2 execution errors Completed: 36685 files, 7.4 GB Performance: 753.7 MB/minute (581.9 copy, 1069.4 compare) Duration: 00:37:42 (00:17:36 idle/loading/preparing) I understand the purpose of those two entries, but why is Retrospect having an issue with them? Has anyone ever seen this, and/or know of a way to fix it? Thanks.

  4. Hello, Since the 7.6 update went through, when I launch Retrospect.exe from any shortcut of the direct exe, it opens the monitor. I have no visible way of getting rid of it to actually open Retrospect. Any ideas? Thanks.
