I have an IBM ThinkPad Z60 with a Broadcom 57xx series 10/100/1000 LAN adapter.
Running Retrospect 7.0 with the latest updates to both server & client.
The backup performance on the network is usually between 2-8 Meg per min with this machine. This is the only system experiencing this problem as the other clients run 30+ Meg per min.
The system board has just been replaced, adding a PC-Card NIC improves performance, so I know the problem is the onboard NIC.
I have tried the latest driver & 2 previous versions, with no change in performance.
Anyone have any ideas besides changing the NIC?
