It has been a long time since we re-posted the forum rules, but a reminder is always helpful.

About this forum...

This is a public forum, hosted by Retrospect, Inc., for Retrospect customers to discuss what works for them, issues they have had, and, in general, to help each other out with technical issues and backup strategy. It is also a good place to post your product feature requests. While Retrospect staff do monitor and occasionally reply to posts, this is a community based support tool and not an official method for requesting technical support. If you have a specific issue you would like Retrospect, Inc. to help you with, please contact our technical support group at support@retrospect.com or online at http://www.retrospect.com/support. Direct forum messages to moderators in the forum may not get a reply, so please contact support directly.

Please note that this forum is intended to be a constructive place and we don't tolerate personal abuse. Direct attacks against individuals or abusive posts could result in you being banned from the forum.

I think it is time to reply to "forum rules" as a reminder, if you are posting inaccurate and unsubstantiated information into the forum it will be deleted. This of course does not include troubleshooting advice, because none of us have all the answers and we can often be wrong.

If you are posting derogatory information about any member of Retrospect/StorCentric or toward anyone else posting in the forum, you will get banned from the forum.
