ColleenW Posted September 8, 2004 Report Share Posted September 8, 2004 I'm very new to Retrospect and to Exchange, so any help would be gratefully appreciated. I'm running 6.5.336 Multiserver on Win 2003 Server with Exchange 2003. Every time the easyscript runs, I am getting an error, "Retrospect has encountered a serious error Assertion failure at "Mailbox.cpp-590" Log written to "assert_log.utx" I can't find the log file. All Retrospect logs are in Documents and settings\all users\application data\Retrospect. Does this error happen with any backup of exchange or just certain mailboxes? Can I expect any problems during the update, or does everything run fairly smoothy? (I ask this because once when I updated ArcServe, the whole thing blew) The error is happening every night when all mailboxes are backed up. Thanks for your reply Nate.
