natew
Hi It may have something to do with the Retrospect open file option. Try deleting Roff.sys from the Windows/system folder. (I think thats where it is. My NT is getting rusty) Does uninstalling the client resolve the problem? Thanks Nate
comu1
the operating system run if uninstall the client. Thanks
natew
Hi When you install the client you should have the option to not install the open file backup feature. This could also be a network issue. You may want to reapply the service pack or uninstall/reinstall your network adapter. Thanks Nate
comu1
You are very kind! The open file backup work correctly, but, with a verify of Panda support, if I change (in the registry) the start of the roff service, the operating system run. The question is: the service roof run corretly with the change?

natew
Hi Doubtful. From your posts it looks like you disabled the roff.sys. When that is disabled open file will not run. I'm afraid its either Panda or Open file backup. You will need to decide which one to keep. Thanks Nate
