chrislaf Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 Hi all, Just recently upgraded my server to Retrospect 5.1 from 5.0. It came with 2 licenses. License Manager lists the 2-Pack license for version 5.1 and my 5-pack license for version 5.0. Is it possible to have a client on my network using a 5.0 client and have Retrospect 5.1 on my server back it up? In other words can 5.0 licenses be used with version 5.1? Thanks for your input. natew Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 Hi I'll warn you now that this is really confusing: The 5.0 client application is compatible with Retrospect 5.1. That means the software part of it will work. The licenses for 5.0 are not compatible with Retrospect 5.1 (I think). That means you should have two valid client licenses and a 5 pack that says "0 available".
