srnath
All, When I start my backup scripts, It will run for a while trying to backup files from system © folder then gives the following error message "Can't save catalog file,Error-1116(Can't access network volume)". I think its a catalog file problem Shall i Repair existing catalogfile or create new catalog file? Did any one had this problem ? How to fix this problem? natew
Hi Are you storing the backup set on a local drive or a network volume? If the drive is local how is it connected to the computer? Thanks Nate
srnath
We are storing the backup set on a network volume(NAS device) Thanks Srnath
natew
Hi Make sure you have the newest OS and firmware updates applied for the NAS. This is doubly true if it is a Unix/BSD based NAS running SAMBA. Make sure you have specified a user in the Retrospect -> Security preferences.
