paulag
I have just installed Pro 6.5 for Windows XP. I did not use the default file selection for the first backup since it would backup my entire PC (6 GB, taking over 2 hours); I selected only the files I wanted to backup. I then made duplicate files to test the Backup. When I started Backup, it identified all the files on my hard drive, and indicated that all the ones I had not selected first were "changed" files. So the next backup will, actually, end up copying all files on my hard drive. How can I save the settings of only the files I want to backup (which will be only about 1 GB of memory)? natew
Hi On the top file selection screen there is a "save highlights" button. That will allow you to save the selections you have made. You can also select subvolumes (folders) for backup rather than the entire disk. Thanks Nate
