Archangel6000
I have an occasional problem with Retrospect backups. With the option to force close Outlook enabled, Outlook isn't backed up due to an 1111 error code specifying a locked range conflict. Does anybody know what this means? AmyJ
It means that the Outlook.exe process is still running in the background, and Retrospect is unable to back it up while open. I've seen this problem on my own machine occasionally. I will manually quit Outlook - yet the outlook.exe process is still active. I've also seen it when trying to launch Outlook a second time before it is fully launched the first time. Make sure you reboot regularly - this will close any 'extra' instances of Outlook that may be active. You can also manually kill them in the Task Manager.
