panoptic
I cannot get my Mammoth LT tape drive to show up. It is a qualified device to use with version 6. My thought is that it is either the device itself or the SCSI card. The SCSI card is the Adaptec 2930CU installed in a 400mhz G4 running OS X 10.3. Can anyone out there give me a clue as how to get this working. I need to backup much media to clear room for new projects.
AmyJ
http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=kbase&ACTION=KBASE&id=27381 Currently Dantz does not support any Adaptec SCSI adapters for use in the Power Macintosh G5 or any Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. No changes to Retrospect will be necessary to support these adapters in Mac OS X 10.3 Panther when Adaptec provides full compatibility.
panoptic
Thank you for the reply. As per Adaptec's site, the card should be working under os X 10.3 They claim that their product works from 10.1 and up. If I go back a version of the OS to 10.2 will this solve the problem?
