melb Posted December 17, 2003 Report Share Posted December 17, 2003 Hi Retrospect 6.0 on XP as backup machine - No problems. However Retrospect 6.0 Linux client on Mandrake 9 is unbelievably slow - 2hrs for a 1GB scan! and I had to abort the recording phase as it almost stopped. There was constant "Retrying" during scan and "ContectRec: too many schedules(83) including 81 of 'SCFA'" messages in backup machine log. I appreciate that Mandrake Linux is not in the supported client list, but could anyone please advise upon what is happening?
