I have configured a script to perform a full backup of our Exchange 2000 server including mailboxes and storage group using Retrospect 6.5 with Exchange License. The backup completes successfully however it does not look like it is purging the transaction logs. Could someone please clarify if I need to apply a setting to allow the purging of Exchange Transaction Logs. I thought Retrospect would purge them automatically so long as the backup was successful?! natew Posted December 2, 2003 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 Hi According to my notes trasaction logs are only truncated in a Log/Incremental backup. By default a full backup copies needed portions of the log but I think it leaves it as is afterward. Nate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
