Dolf
I'm running an OS X server that is backing up Win and Mac clients. One of the Win2000 machines I'm backing up is giving this error: "Can't add that much data to backup set. The limit is 1000.0 G. Execution in complete. Remaining: 5008 files, 941.2 GB Completed: 0 files, 0 KB" First of all, I'm only trying to backup a user folder. Second of all, this computer has nowhere close to 1000 GB of HD space. How can I fix this error? I tried reinstalling the Win client and it didn't resolve the issue. The actual data I'm trying to backup is less than 50MB. I am backing up many other computers of the same model with the same configuration, and they are backing up normally. None of the Mac clients have this problem either. --Dolf
CallMeDave
Some versions of Retrospect have a bug that causes any Windows "Finder.DAT" files to present themselves as greatly larger then they actually are. This has been fixed in 5.1. Do a search here on the forum for "finder.dat" for some background and information. Dave
