arckle Posted October 16, 2003 Report Share Posted October 16, 2003 Hi there, I have installed the trial version of Retrospect 6.5 with a view to using it as the backup system for 7 computers. The device I wish to use is a Hewlett Packard 9100, not specifically listed on the Dantz list of compatiable devices, although plenty of other HP devices are. Unfortunately when I try to configure the device either Retrospect crashes or the entire machine crashes. I may bite the bullet and purchase removable hard drives (this making the cd writer obselete) but I am keen on trying the cheaper option of CDRWs first. Any advice VERY gratefully received.
