Candid
Hi, I just installed Retrospect 6.5 as Demo with Trialcode. Now when I start Retrospect 6.5 I get a message, that it needs at least 16MB free disk space on the system volume or the volume on which it is installed. There is much more free disk space than 16MB but it does not run. I installed Retrospect on a Windows NT Terminal Server with Service Pack 6. Any suggestions? Mayoff
I am not sure why that would happen in your case. Are you using the default install path? Were you logged in as Admin at the time of install? What happens if you install to a different partition or disk?
Candid
Hello, yes, I used the default install path. It is on C:\Programme\Retrospect I think. Yes, I were logged in as Administrator when I installed it and when I ran it. I will try to install to another disk. I cannot remeber that I was asked for the directory to install. Should it run with Windows NT Terminal Server SP6 and a NEC DVD-RW-burner? I could not find your NEC DVD-burner in your lists.
AmyJ
How much free space do you have on the boot drive? The 6.5 User's Guide lists the requirement as 50 meg of free space, not 16.
Candid
Hi, sorry for the late answer. I uninstalled the Demo from drive c with nearly 300MB free disk space. I reinstalled it on another drive/partition with some GB free disc space. I get the same message after applying the Demo code. What can I do?
