karelsf Posted April 5, 2002 Report Share Posted April 5, 2002 We're now slowing working on switching over to Retrospect 5. Things are mostly working, but I have a strange problem on one of our OS X clients. It previously had the beta client installed, and backed up fine from Retro 4.3. Now we have removed the beta client, installed the 5.0 client (version 528 ?). However, when I try to connect to the machine from the server, i get the "error 507: incorrect password" error. Yes, we've uninstalled and changed the password 3 times and no amount of retyping allows the server to connect to the client. Is it possible there are conflicts or bad stored preferences I should look for? This DID work on the other 2 OS X clients I've tried so far.
